COST2100 Training School on WIRELESS NETWORK OPTIMISATION

We are pleased to inform that we will be hosting the 1st COST2100 TRAINING SCHOOL on "Wireless Network Optimisation": 4-6 February 2008, Wroclaw, Poland. The School will be based on 10 invited lectures by leading European experts in mobile network optimisation. Programme can be found at the COST2100 web page (http://www.cost2100.org) in Trainig Schools tab. The Training School is coupled with the 4th Management Committee Meeting of the COST2100 action.

Join MEASUREMENT BASED OPTIMISATION FOR MOBILE WIRELESS NETWORKS group at COST 2100 action!

If you are working on mobile wireless network planning and optimisation issues you are warmly invited to join the new Special Interest Group (SIG) / Sub Working Group (SWG) entitled "Measurement Based Optimisation for Mobile Wireless Networks" which was proposed within COST 2100 "Pervasive Mobile & Ambient Wireless Communications" action. If so, please send an email together with Expression of Interest describing you and your group possible activities within this SIG/SWG to MACIEJ.NAWROCKI@PWR.WROC.PL by 11 February 2007.

Number of research papers by our book authors at IEEE PIMRC 2006!

Research is ongoing and several of our book authors will be presenting their new results in the area of UMTS, WLAN, RRM, IP, MC-CDMA and Cognitive Radio at IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications PIMRC 2006 Helsinki, Finland at 11-14 September 2006.
